The neverending autobanning saga goes on but now in Twitter

Hi, dear readers! I guess someone may remember my older rants about google plus bannings and shit of that sort? Well, here's a new case but this time in the tweetybird microblogging service! I just posted a slightly annoyed text post in tumblr, which I just decided to c/p here for your enjoyment.

I'm sorry this isn't a naughty post and it has not a single naughty pic, either. I'll improve on that side soon, I promise to do that :)

Siiiiiiigghhhhhhhh
I was setting up a twitter account earlier today. All I got to do was to post something like “Good morning, everyone” and some other simple thing. Followed a user I wanted to chat with, while doing that clicked “show” on a bunch of their posts that were automagically hidden for being #nsfw. Finally I searched for Bailey Jay, remembering she had an official twitty acct.

Being at work I did something else for a short while, then came back to that tab. What greeted me was a “you have been locked because you act like a bot” or some horseshit like that. All I could do after that was to fill a captcha and give a cell number for verification purposes. Fuck that shit. I hadn’t added a profile pic / background pic that was infringing on anyone’s copyright, as I didn’t get to do that XD

They don’t require a phone number to sign up. So I’m not going to give it now, it’s not something I feel twirper or any other social media company should have, as far as I can have my say - I know I can’t prevent some well-intentioning idiot sharing their phonebooks with everyone they encounter.
So, all in all: two text posts, a follow and five minutes of idling is apparently “automated behaviour” and worth kind of blackmailing for phone numbers - that’s what I liken this “we keep your Social Media thing under locks until you give this fucking important personal piece of information about yourself that you supposedly weren’t going to be asked for” crap as a fucking stupid and weak approach at exhortation. It’d be worse if they did this fuckery after I had actually gotten into the damn shit and maybe even relied on it somehow, being practically unable to let it go. Luckily I don’t actually invest myself into social media so if they start demanding shit I don’t want to give to them, I just tell them to fuck right off :D
Still, it’s fucking annoying. And that’s why I’m complaining here. It’s just as idiotic as Google+ autobanning based on shit it had pulled from another Google/Alphabet service (blogger). Yes, I know, I use NSFW shit in the blog but not in g+ after multiple autoflagging bans. One day they decided that all my google account folders were open and available on G+, and as the blogger folder was full of porn and shit like that, it caused an autoban. Just because they changed something of theirs. And adult content is ok in blogger, anyway, so the inconcistency is incredible.

Fuck these companies and their shit :D If I disappear from Tumblr one day you all know it’s because of something braindead like this - yet again :D

Policy changes, fuck you google - again

Idiocy

I guess everyone heard already: google is applying some censorship on NSFW-typed blogger blogs. Why? Because that's what google seems to be doing, hiding tits from the interwebs because seeing nipples ruins your brains or something.

Oe noes! There's porn in the interveps!!111

I blame it on them being Americans and suffering a perpetual moral panic about nudity. There's nothing I can do about it except grumble and complain.

So, all in all, it's just another grand "fuck you" from Google, inc <3

Demandy fuckers, wtf?

Social media. Sometimes it's just fun and games, sometimes fucking annoying.
I always like chatting with people and usually accept friend requests and all that. Why not? Most people are nice and there's nothing wrong, but then there are those I've ranted about before.

The demanding assholes

Some of them bother to begin with some pleasantries, some go to "TELL ME YOUR ASL!!!!11" mode instantly. Yeah, I can see how that works for you... but not for me. Fuck off.
I've already lost count of the people who ask me to join a 'cam session with them. They never tell me what for. And I always reply that I don't have Skype, MSN or a webcam. In about 99% of the cases the person gets offended!
What the fucking fuck?
Yeah, they get offended. I get messages like "WHY DO U HATE ME." and "WHY YOU NO MSN ME I WNT 2 C U DEAR!!!!!!!!". I also love the all caps mode and the total lack of grammar.

sigh

In a good bunch of cases they just start demanding nude pics sent to their emails. What? One beautiful private message I got from one of these people said simply "SEND ME MY EMAIL". Did I promise you something? When? And what? I really didn't, so: fuck off.

>:(

I'm not sending nudes (or any other sort of pics) to anyone just because they demand it. I'm also not going to run and buy a webcam because you think want to see me. And I especially am not going to do anything you want just because you bitch and moan and get rude about it. All you get that way is a permanent blocking and utter ignorance.

Sorry about the rant, I just can't help it sometimes :p These people just rub me the wrong way :)

Suspension!

*sigh*
Logged in google today, found out that my g+ profile is suspended because something isn't cool. Everything was cool for a long while but now, suddendly, it isn't. Again.

Obviously I submitted my profile for a review because I don't think I've shared publicly anything outrageous or "harmful to children" for example. I foresee that my request will be turned down and despite that they say "If approved, your profile will have normal access. Otherwise, you’ll see an email that your request was denied and your profile will continue to be suspended. At that point, you can still re-edit your profile or name and submit it for review.", I will receive no email and more importantly no explanation. I won't get to hear what's wrong and how to get my profile unlocked again.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!
Google's motto used to be "Don't be evil" but this feels quite evil to me.

Fuck you, google+ censorship

Just about everybody and their neighbours knows how retardedly google+ handles "adult" content. I've complained about that before, I know, I'm sorry in advance. Somehow I just can't wrap my brain around the fact that adults couldn't share adult content between each other.

I'd accept that sharing porn in completely "Public" posts or maybe even those shared with your "Extended Circles" (because you can't know who other people add to their circles) isn't allowed, ok. But if I know who receives the naughty pic or vid I share, especially if all these are consenting adults, what's wrong with that? Nothing.

Unless you ask g+ people, of course. Even blogger has an "adult" flag that can be set so people won't end up looking at nipples or other Dangerous things completely by accident :D

Yeah, I know, fecesbook is just as retarded or even worse, if and when possible. But I'm not in fb so I'm not complaining about them ;)

Circumventing the stupidity

A good while ago I shared a bunch of pics in an album to my circelets, but some of the pics were slowly (some very quickly) flagged and therefore unavailable to my circles. So I post them here again and then share a link to the post. Tada, my friends can see these images again and everyone's happy ^_^
Sharing is caring:

Suspension!

To anyone who reads this: I'm sorry in advance, this is not a fun post. I'm seething.

I did go shopping after my last post (wasn't as succesful as I hoped, but got something at least <3), but since that I've been awfully busy at work so I haven't the time to post again until now. Funnily enough one morning almost a month ago I had a moment to check what goes on in google+, to my surprise I saw that my account was suspended. No explanation was provided, the info text just contained two links in addition to the usual crap. One link pointed to the naming policy and other to the content policy. I didn't think I had broken any of either ruleset. Apparently I was wrong somehow.

So I've been trying to figure out what the fuck is wrong and why. I edit my profile details, hit the "request a review" button and wait. After a couple of days I check again and see that it's been denied. No details.  Whenever you request a new review, the thing claims that you'll get an email telling if it was denied - if the thing goes through, you get to use g+ again. Over these almost four weeks I've retried more than ten times easily, guess the amount of emails I've received? Zero. What the hell?

Every single time I've been wondering the same thing: what is wrong with my profile? Why can't they tell me what's bothering them? I've sent generic feedback twice, but obviously it's nothing that requires any reaction. So I've kept re-editing random pieces of data, a couple of days ago I even deleted about half my public posts because hey, maybe there's something wrong with them instead? The Content Policy says something vague about shit harmful to kids and child porn being not allowed (surprise?), but I had only shared one xxx-pic publicly and that had been flagged just about instantly. So I deleted whatever I thought that someone could've seen or read somewhere. So far I haven't thought that a couple of swearwords would cause a total profile suspension, but maybe I have to check for those too :S

It's just frustrating. I'd love to use g+ pretty actively and I don't see how I could've done something wrong but no fucking one tells me anything! How can I fix what's wrong if I don't have the faintest clue of what goes on? Why can't they point out the fuckup?

Some ranting

I was going to post something else, but a couple of g+ chats that took part yesterday (and on other days and in other services) sparked this one instead... So, what grinds my gears this time?

The basic idea of mine
Every once in a while someone random starts chatting with me in gchat. That's not a problem, not at all. I like chatting with people, old friends and new strangers alike. Everything's fine so far.
Usually these new, random people ask similar questions. But that's how it goes, you've got to start somehow and basics of who you're talking with is something you should get to know :)

All these chatters are in google+, that's obvious. And they see me in their chat lists so I guess I have to be in their circles, because they couldn't try to chat with me otherwise. As I have no control over who circles me and who doesn't, this is not a problem in the least. So far nothing has been weird or problematic. They see me and my profile, my profile tells them what I want and allow people to know of me.

Chatting nicely
So, there's this person, let's call him mr X for convenience. X starts a chat with me and I reply when I notice it. I'm usually online at work so it may take a moment. We chat for a while about this and that. All's fine and we're friendly because that's how it goes. It's only polite, right?

This specific chat doesn't get to the sometimes blatant "SUCK MY COCK!" first liner or anything, it's pretty casual. Casual and goodhearted. Not that I get offended if someone asks if I suck cocks, it's a valid question in this world :P It's just a completely different opening statement and sometimes a bit amusing - but not offending in my opinion :)

Surprise!
Then mr X asks if I'm a girl. Naturally, I reply that no, I'm a dude. And in addition to that I'm a crossdresser. Mr X disappears without a comment and as far as I know, I'm also uncircled by him.
What the hell did just happen?

My problem with this
Ok, I understand that X wasn't looking for a CD or anything. I also understand that he didn't want me in his circles anymore. That's all cool by me, I don't force myself on anyone :) I was (very lightly) offended by the way he just disappeared without a comment of any sorts. It's happened before: someone starts talking to me and at some point they ask my gender and then they go "Oh, I'm looking for girls here, bye" or something to that effect.
That's very polite and I don't get offended or angry, why should I? :) For each their own, I'm not interested in everyone who I talk to, either :) The least I can do when talking to an uninteresting person is to just say something before I terminate the conversation. It's not their fault they don't tickle my fancy.

Why is this an issue to me?
The reason I complain about this and why I get somewhat angry about mr X's behaviour is the whole stupidity of the situation. I obviously have a profile in g+ and surprise, surprise, it contains some information about me! The word "crossdresser" is one of the first you see next to my name. That "About" tab in my profile tells more about me, not much but something. My gender is clearly visible and the intro has a couple of short paragraphs. At least if one bothers to take a cursory glance at it, one wouldn't be surprised or shocked. I don't hide what I am.

Whenever someone starts a chat with me, I go and check what their g+ profile (including that "About" section) says about them, if anything. I do that so I know what kind of a person I'm talking to. Based on that I've even asked if they knew what I am, so they wouldn't get disappointed. I'm just trying to have things going smoothly. I check what they tell of themselves and believe that they've done the same.

But for some reason in this wonderful world of internet, an insane amount of people don't actually bother with any of that. They just start with their own stuff and like in X's case, get apparently shocked and offended when I tell them something they could've noticed very early on. And they'd avoided "wasting" a good amount of time talking to me and getting to ask it themselves. This would've been so fucking easily avoided.

Is it really that difficult? Do people just go by the profile picture and ignore everything else?
Oh well. It's not my time they're wasting, I had a nice chat until X disappeared. I blame all this on the lack of understanding of the netiquette among these people I complain about. Of course it's not just X and google chat but many people in many different services, based on my personal experience.

Promises, promises...
Next time I'll be more positive or at least have something more fun to say ;) I don't intend to rant this much all the time :)
Kisses <3
